Confessions of a Paranormal Junkie
A fascination with ghosts is also a career path for Noah Voss, who's
spent a lifetime chasing the unexplained
by
Becky Meyer Pourchot
Fueled by rumors of a family ghost,
two school-aged boys creep carefully down a darkened hallway,
holding tightly to a large tape recorder in hopes of capturing
voices from beyond the grave. For most kids, sharing spooky tales
under the protection of their Scooby Doo sleeping bag would have
been scary enough, but not for ten-year-old Noah Voss. He wanted to
find a ghost.
The boys' careful attempts that night were unsuccessful and Voss'
friend quickly lost interest, but for Voss this was just the
beginning. He had taken his first steps into the world of paranormal
adventuring. And although to this day he still finds few tangible
clues of the paranormal, Voss is continually driven by the thrill of
the hunt.
By day, Voss now works as a life safety inspector, inspecting fire
alarms--a mundane job in comparison to the busy life of his
alter-ego as a paranormal junkie, hooked on the excitement of
following clues, visiting creepy places, collecting information and
meeting interesting people along the way...

Mexico: Crews of 5 Airliners Report UFO Activity
by Ana Luisa Cid,
Inexplicata
On March 23, 2008, between 20:00 and
20:40 hours, five airliner crews reported UFO sightings over Mexico.
All witnesses agreed on the traffic being intensely brilliant, with
lights resembling airliner strobes (white and intermittent). The
objects were described as brilliant spheres that were also
surrounded by lights.
One of the pilots, the one who flew closest to the UFOs, added that
they had a pentagon-shaped base. The objects went up and down,
making movements that could not be matched by an airliner. At that
time they were flying at 25,000 feet, 70 miles northwest of
Guadalajara (Jalisco)...

Storms Uncover Ancient 'Ghost Forest' Along Oregon Coast
by Teresa Blackman,
KGW.com
Bigfoot? At
Berkeley?
NESKOWIN BEACH, Ore. - High winds, heavy rain and powerful surf
pounding the Oregon Coast recently uncovered a ghost forest known
mostly through legendary tales in the small community of Neskowin.
The ancient tree stumps are usually covered in deep sand. But recent
storms washed away a great deal of the beach and once again
uncovered the ancient tree stumps that locals call “the ghost
forest.”
An article in the “Oregon Coast Beach Connection” described the
ghost forest as a “downright spectacular oddity.”
“They [tree stumps] look somewhat like old, ragged pilings leftover
from something manmade - but they are, in fact, stumps of a forest
some 2,000 years ago or so. As many as 100 are sometimes visible in
various shapes and sizes.” ..
