Visions
Recently I
had visions, both in my dreams while I slept, most clear and
vivid; and when I was in revelation meditation listening to the
voice of the apostles of old and being shown the world to come.
I saw great darkening storm clouds roiling across the planet;
immense explosions of fire on the ground; fire raining from the
sky, and the dreaded mushroom cloud of nuclear destruction. Not
only was the world suffering from the foolish follies of man,
but even the very earth was in heightened upheaval with great
storms, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Nor were these
visions of some far distant future, but events just over the
horizon, as the clothing and cities and modes of transportation
I saw were similar to those of our current time.
I also saw
beautiful, peaceful edens upon the world that were untouched by
the horrors and desolation so prevalent on much of the planet;
havens of serenity and prosperity where children still played in
innocence and laughter and adults still went about life with
smiles on their faces, warmth in their hearts, and harmony in
their lives. I saw the two realities existing
simultaneously upon our great planet, and this engendered...

In the sky!
A bird? A plane? A ... UFO?
by Jon Hilkevitch, Chicago Tribune
It sounds like a
tired joke--but a group of airline employees insist they are in
earnest, and they are upset that neither their bosses nor the
government will take them seriously.
A flying saucerlike object hovered low over O'Hare International
Airport for several minutes before bolting through thick clouds with
such intense energy that it left an eerie hole in overcast skies,
said some United Airlines employees who observed the phenomenon.
Was it an alien spaceship? A weather balloon lost in the airspace
over the world's second-busiest airport? A top-secret military
craft? Or simply a reflection from lights that played a trick on the
eyes?..

by
Jurriaan Kamp, Ode Magazine
A California institute demonstrates
how people can actually make their heart beat in a healthier way.
Through its research, the Institute of HeartMath proves that health
starts with love, and that love can reduce stress. It is a method

government agencies and schools. This simple method is changing the
world. A report from Boulder Creek, California...

This Magic Moment
By Jennifer Anderson, weboflove.org
Below is an incredibly inspiring story about a
magical moment with a manta ray sent in by a great friend of ours. I
am told that it originally comes from the
Chicken Soup for the Soul
series. I haven't confirmed this, but it is so moving that I just
had to post it here. Take care and have a wonderful day!
It was like many
Maui mornings, the sun rising over Haleakala as we greeted our
divers for the day's charter. As my captain and I explained the dive
procedures, I noticed the wind line moving into Molokini, a small,
crescent-shaped island that harbors a large reef. I slid through the
briefing, then prompted my divers to gear up, careful to do
everything right so the divers would feel confident with me, the
dive leader.
The dive went
pretty close to how I had described it: The garden eels performed
their underwater ballet, the parrot fish grazed on the coral, and
the ever-elusive male flame wrasse flared their colors to defend
their territory. Near the last level of the dive, two couples in my
group signaled they were going to ascend. As luck would have it, the
remaining divers were two European brothers, who were obviously
troubled by the idea of a "woman" dive master and had ignored me for
the entire dive.
The three of us
caught the current and drifted along the outside of the reef, slowly
beginning our ascent until, far below, something caught my eye.
After a few moments, I made out the white shoulder patches of a
manta ray in about one hundred and twenty feet of water...

Researchers Seek
Routes to Happier Life
By Malcom Ritter, Washington Post
NEW YORK -- As a motivational
speaker and executive coach, Caroline Adams Miller knows a few
things about using mental exercises to achieve goals. But last year,
one exercise she was asked to try took her by surprise.
Every night, she was to think of
three good things that happened that day and analyze why they
occurred. That was supposed to increase her overall happiness.
"I thought it was too simple to be
effective," said Miller, 44, of Bethesda. Md. "I went to Harvard.
I'm used to things being complicated."
Miller was assigned the task as
homework in a master's degree program. But as a chronic worrier, she
knew she could use the kind of boost the exercise was supposed to
deliver...

'You've Got to Find What You Love,' Jobs Says
This is the text of the Commencement address by Steve Jobs, CEO of
Apple Computer and of Pixar Animation Studios, delivered on June 12,
2005.
I am honored to be with you today at your commencement from one of
the finest universities in the world. I never graduated from
college. Truth be told, this is the closest I've ever gotten to a
college graduation. Today I want to tell you three stories from my
life. That's it. No big deal. Just three stories.
The first story is about connecting the dots.
I dropped out of Reed College after the first 6 months, but then
stayed around as a drop-in for another 18 months or so before I
really quit. So why did I drop out?..
