Scientists
who aren't employed by industries refusing to admit the reality of global
warming because it might hurt their business, are almost unanimous in their
agreement that the pollution generated by many modern industries, automobiles,
and even seemingly benign activities like burning wood in your stove or
fireplace to keep warm in the winter, are significantly contributing to an
increase in the annual average temperature of the Earth, otherwise known as
“Global Warming”, with dire consequences predicted because of this in the near
future.
